Description

The Crushproof Exhaust System Flarelock Hose has a convoluted design that has been specifically formulated to handle 600 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. The hose, which does not contain a wire helix, returns back to its original shape if "crushed" by any vehicles or other machinery. This hose is ideal for applications where the hose may be left on the floor or used in underground applications.

One end of the Flarelock Hose has flared ends so that two pieces of hose can be connected to create longer lengths. The hose is designed so it has a male and female end on each hose and is very cost effective, although a fan is recommended when using a hose longer than 10 feet. The Flarelock hose can easily be connected to additional hoses or adapters without any special connections or modifications with the smaller male 1 end screwing into the larger female 2 end.

The tailpipe should always be smaller than the hose (by about 1/2 inch) and used with the proper tailpipe adapter. This will create cooler temperatures inside the hose as ambient shop air will be captured in with the exhaust fumes.
